TROTTING NOTES
By Sentinel Acceptances are due to-day for the Forbury Park meeting, to be held on May 8. Haste, who is engaged at the Southland Racing Club’s meeting to-morrow, is a promising three-year-old by Sandydale from Fortunate. He finished in a place at Beaumont, and would have been harder to beat on a firmer track. According to reports from the south, Danny Malone will be a fit horse for his engagements at the Forbui'y Park meeting. and if that is the case the Quite Sure gelding will carry heavy support. At the Wyndham meeting last month Will Cary did not put a foot wrong in the Menzies Handicap, and won impressively from 108 yards. In the tighter class attached to the Victory Handicap at the Forbury Park meeting next week he is on 36 yards, and if he keeps to the correct gait should finish in the money. Among the b rses on the front of the Ritchie Handicap, the principal event at the Forbury Park meeting, those most in favour are Warfield and Kiri \ Warfield lost a lot of ground in his race at Addington last Saturday, but once he settled down he showed that he is close to his best form. Kid Wolf was successful >at the recent Auckland meeting.
