LADY GALWAY GUILD
DOMINION EXECUTIVE MEETS
A meeting of the Dominion Executive o£ the New Zealand Lady Galway Patriotic Guild was held last week at Government House, Wellington. Her Excellency, Lady Newall, who takes the keenest interest in the work, and is president of the guild, presided at the meeting. The report of the safe arrival of some hundreds of cases of clothes was received from the Women's Voluntary Services, England, which distributes the clothes from New Zealand as they arrive. The thanks of the Women's Voluntary Services and of the many recipients of clothing were expressed. About 27,450 garments from the Dominion had been received and distributed in England for a period of three months. Cases continue to be sent while shipping space is available, and all branches are urged to' continue their good work.
