GROWING MIGHT

UNITED NATIONS CONFIDENCE JUSTIFIED (Rec. 7 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 22. " I am certain that in the not-distant future nothing will withstand the might of the United Nations," declared the Minister of External Affairs, Dr H. V. Evatt, who recently returned from Britain and America. " I can say this." he continued, "because I have seen the immense industrial output of Britain and America." Dr Evatt said that the change for the better in the Pacific situation in the last three months has been dramatic. "But we must not ease up merely because of this," he added. "We 'must press forward to regain what has temporarily been lost and to exploit our air supremacy, which wilj in the end give us victory* The United Nations may receive more setbacks, but in the end their industrial strength will be overwhelming."
