IMPORT LICENSING SIXTH PERIOD SCHEDULE AMENDMENTS Advice has been received by the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce of the following amendments to the Import Licensing Schedule for the sixth period:— Textile piece goods of cotton, etc. (ex Tariff Item 180/1): It has been decided that Sixth Period Licences may be sranted for the importation of textile piece goods (other than moquettes, tapestry and tickings) of cotton, etc. exTariff Item 180/1). from the United Kingdom to the extent of 50 per cent, of the value of the licences granted for imports of similar goods from all sources in 1940. Children's footwear (Tariff Item 195): It has been decided that the existing Sixth Period allocation for imports of boots, shoes, etc.. viz., children's 0-9 inclusive (Tariff Item 195), from the United Kingdom arid "Other British " countries is to be increased from 50 per cent, to 100 per cent, of the value of licences granted for imports from those sources in 1940. Lawn bowls (ex Tariff Item 239); It has been decided that Sixth Period Licence may be granted for the importation of lawn bowls (ex Tariff Item 239) from Australia to the extent of 50 per cent, of the value of licences granted for imports of similar goods from that source in 1940.
