The engagement is announced between Dr John Anthony Meade (lieutenant N.Z.M.C.), younger son of the late Mr and Mrs T. J. Meade, and Annette Caroline Muller Leggo, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs J. R. Leggo, of Nelson.
The engagement is announced between Colin, only son of Mr and Mrs L. W. Barrett, of Dee street, Invercargill, and Flo, elder daughter of Mrs Lennox, of High street, Dunedin. and the late Mr J. H. Lennox.
