PLANE CATCHES FIRE

AIR FORCE BOMBER LOSS OF TWO LIVES LONDON, Aug. 8. The Alexandria correspondent of The Times says: An Air Force bomber with 1100 gallons of petrol aboard started for Lake Habbamyeh en route to Iraq. It taxied for two miles and then struck a sea wall and crashed and caught fire. The eight occupants sprang out as the tank exploded. Aircraftsman Scott and Pilot-ser-geant Steel died in hospital. Aircraftsman Shaw is not expected to recover. The other five were injured.
