MIXED WEATHER IN ENGLAND CROWDS BIGGER THAN EVER (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, August 7. The Bank Holiday week-end crowds, which have been larger than ever, have experienced very mixed weather and the holiday itself in London has had the least favourable conditions for several years. The skies cleared towards evening, when the streets became more animated.
