MR LEE’S POSITION

CURIOSITY EXPRESSED “A MYSTERY MAN” ‘From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 12. _ Curiosity about the present position in the Government of the Parliamentary Under-secretary for Housing (Mr J. A. Lee) was expressed by Mr C. A. Wilkinson (Independent, Egmont) speaking in the Address-in-Reply debate in the House of Representatives this evening. “Is the honourable member for Grey Lynn still Under-secretary for Housing? ” Mr Wilkinson asked. “ The country is entitled to know who is Under-secretary for Housing. What has happened to the member for Grey Lynn? Has he been put out of a job? If so, why not let the country know? There is something there that the country ought to know about. We don’t know to-day whether we have an undersecretary or not.” Mr Lee: A mystery man!
