QUEENSLAND BOWLERS
ARRIVAL AT WELLINGTON A PARTY OF THIRTY-THREE (Peb United Press Association* WELLINGTON, Jan. 9.
The Queensland bowlers arrived by the Awatea to-day. There are 29 men and four ladies in the party. A. McNichol, of Mackay, is believed to have set a record for a passenger trip from Queensland tq New Zealand. He received short notice of a vacancy in the team and flew 1200 miles to Sydney to catch the Awatea, the total time of his journey being just three days. _____
