SUMMER SCHOOL

LARGE GATHERING OF TEACHERS

(Per United Press Association) HASTINGS. Jan. 9. From all parts of the Dominion, 89 teachers are attending the summer school which was arranged by the Teachers’ Summer School Society, and which was opened in Napier to-day. The lectures are free to the public. Dr A. K. Botts, of Cortland Teachers’ College, United States, lectured on artificial trade barriers. Lectures on educational subjects were delivered by other speakers. The school will continue with lectures during the day and night until Wednesday.
