DELAYED BY FOG
SEVERAL TRAINS HELD UP EXPERIENCE IN KING COUNTRY (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 12. Delayed by dense fog in the King Country and Waikato last night, several trains were late in arriving at Auckland this morning. A long goods train, which was five and ahalf hours late, had a consignment of produce which failed to catch today’s Auckland markets. “The fog in the King Country was the worst this year,” said the guard on one long-distance train, adding that shunting was most difficult.
