Graham (St.' Patrick’s); Cricket The following is the draw for the Eastern Southland cricket competitions on Saturday:— Senior Grade.—Gore A v. Celtic, at Gore; Gore B v. Heriot-Edievale. at Heriot; Tapanui v. Waikoikoi, at Waikoikoi; Pukerau v. Mataura, at Mataura. Junior Grade.—Mataura v. Celtic, at Mataura: Gore High School v. Wyndham, at Gore. Obituary A highly-respected resident of Eastern Southland in the person of Mrs Ellen Sexton passed away on Saturday. Mrs Sexton was a native of County Clare. Ireland, and early in life she emigrated to Australia. About a year later she proceeded to New Zealand, landing at Bluff, and immediately took up residence at Gore, where-she had lived for the last 50 years. Mrs Sexton took little interest in public affairs, her main interest lying in her home and the Catholic Church, of which she was an ardent supporter. She married Mr Patrick Sexton about 47 years ago, and was predeceased by him some four years ago. She is survived by a family of seven, four daughters—Mesdames W. Mulrooney (Dunedin), C. Gough (Wellington), D. Burke (Gore), and I. Dripps (Pukerau) —and three sons — Messrs Michael Sexton (Invercargill), Patrick (Seaward Downs), and Thomas (Gore).
