NASEBY AMENITIES

TO THE EDITOR Sir,— Kindly allow me space to ask why the Naseby Borough Council allows a hole of about five feet in diameter, 15 inches deep and within eight feet of a main walk and thoroughfare to be used as a rubbish dump and a menace to pedestrians? Surely the person responsible for this hole will have the decency to fill it in before someone sprains an ankle, or some motorist breaks a spring or a wheel of his car. The slackness of our council speaks for itself, as the hole has been made for months. If our council has not the power to have this hole filled in. the sooner they resign their positions and admit new young blood to the council table the better. Trusting this will wake the council up and remedy the nuisance.—l am. etc., Knee Out of Trousers.
