M.C.C. won by seven wickets. GLOUCESTER v. SURREY

Gloucester: First innings, 174; second, 119. Surrey: First innings, 127 (Hammond four for 39); second, 57 (Hammond four for 27, Goddard six for 26). Gloucester won by 109 runs. DERBYSHIRE v. YORKSHIRE

Derby: First innings, 145 (Turner five for 45); second, 281 (Smith 158). Yorkshire: First innings, four for 525, declared (Sutcliffe 86, Hutton not out 271).

Yorkshire won by an innings and 99 runs. SUSSEX v. HAMPSHIRE
