HAILE SELLASSIE’S CASE DEFENDANTS TO PAY COSTS LONDON, June 22. The libel action brought by Haile Sellassie against the Evening Standard was settled in the law courts. The action concerned the Emperor’s alleged imprisonment and ill-treat-ment of Ras Hailu, who slated that he had been released from chains a cripple when Haile Sellassie left the country.
