COMING-OF-AGE PARTY

A pleasant evening was spent at the residence of Mr and Mrs G. Dentil. Royal terrace, when they entertained a number of young people, the occasion being the coming-of-age of their daughter Margaret. Each guest wore a paper hat, and streamers and balloons of pink and blue made the party room look gay Games, competitions, and music kept everybody happy A buffet supper was served in the dining room, during which the guest of the evening cut the birthday cake, which was decorated with the usual 21 candles. Mr Alan Wallace (Balclutha) presented the key, and Miss Margaret Death suitably replied. Those present were: Mr and Mrs W. H. Death, Mr and Mrs P, S, Death. Misses Betty Irvine, Joyce Cooper, Annie Gumming, Sylvia Avent, Ailoen Buttar, Cora Scott, Helen Death, Nctta Leader. Messrs D. Kelly. Bernie Falck. Brian Falck, W. Smith.
