ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
The final round for the Fletcher Cup competition commences this afternoon, and most interest will centre in the game between High School Old Boys and Northern, two of the four leading teams in the contest for the premiership Old Boys has maintained its present leading position through sound and consistent play, but its opponents are a much-improved side since the season opened, and a keen and closely-contested game is expected. The remaining games arc: Mosgiel and Roslyn-Wakari, at Mosgiel; Maori Hill and SeaclifT, at Seacliff; and Mornington v. Technical Old Boys, at Ellis Park.
