COUNT VON LUCKNER

PROHIBITION OF ENTRY URGED TRADE UNION'S RESOLUTION (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17. A resolution, urging the Government to prohibit the entry into New Zealand of Count yon Luckner, was carried unanimously at a meeting of the Wellington Tailors, Tailoresses, and other Clothing Trades Employees' Union. The resolution states that the Government which Count von Luckner represents has beui notorious for smashing trade unions in Germany, and that Nazi influence and propaganda would be harmful to working-class democracy. A copy of the resolution has been forwarded to the Acting Prime Minister (Mr P. Fraser).
