THE POPE'S HEALTH
SLIGHT RETURN OF TROUBLE COMPLETE REST ORDERED VATICAN CITY, May 30. (Received May 31, at 10 p.m.) The Pope is suffering a slight return of arterio scelerosis and is only able to walk a few steps. Professor Milani has ordered complete rest and a vegetarian diet. Nevertheless the Pope will celebrate his eightieth birthday on May 31 by inaugurating the Papal Academy of Sciences. His speech will be translated into six languages and broadcast throughout the world.
