Miniature Rifle Club
Eighteen members of the Clyde Miniature Rifle Club journeyed to Cromwell on Monday evening to have a friendly match on the Cromwell range, using the metric target for the first time. The visitors were 15 points to the good at the end. J. C. Parcel!, of Cromwell, put on a possible with a small rifle. Twenty-five turned up for the weekly ahoot on Tuesday night, despite the rain, which came on just before starting time. The average was 74.2 for the first 10, iower than last week, but quite good. Some of the low handicap men were not present. Tattersfield took the rifle button and E. Hollander the handicap. The following are the scores;—H. Tattersfield 78, C. J. Davidson 77, E.
