NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY
DUNEDIN NORTH BRANCH The Duncclin North branch of the New Zealand Labour Party hold its nnnual meeting in tins branch roonia, NorthKast Valley 'town Hall, on Thursday night. Mr' W. Watt presided over a large attendance of members. The balance sheet and annual report was adopted. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr S. llawes; vice president, Mr J. Enxton; secretary, Mr L Ashworth (reelected): executive —Messrs W. Watt, K. Cameron, C. Wilson, J. Kerr, and J. deary; delegates to the 0.L.R.C., Messrs I. Ashworth and B. O'Donnell (re-elected); auditors, Messrs F. Collins and T. Kelly; trustees, Messrs M. Silverstone and J. Scott.
The president made reference to the invaluable assistance accorded to the branch by the Dahnore, Sawyers' Bay, and Ravensbourno branches of the party in securing the return of Mr J. W. Munro as member for Dunedin North in the recent general election.
