LANCASHIRE TRAGEDY

NINE PEOPLE INCINERATED MOTHER AND EIGHT CHILDREN LONDON, January 13. A mother and eight children, whose ages ranged from one to 13 years, were burned to death in a miner’s wooden cottage at Tyldesley, Lancashire. The father, Adam Tyrer, jumped from a window to obtain help, but the flames spread amazingly, and overcame the mother; who was trying to throw the children from the window.
