CASE REVIVED
MURDER OF NAZI TWO MEN BEHEADED BERLIN, April 10. Two men—Sail Epstein, a young Jewish painter, and Hans Zielgler—were beheaded for complicity in the murder of the Nazi hero, Horst Wessel, in 1930. The case is unique inasmuch as both were sentenced to death when the Nazis revived the case, whereas the man originally responsible was convicted in 1932 for manslaughter and sentenced to six years’ imprisonment, but he “died in prison ” soon after the Nazi revolution.
