SECOND AIR RACE
INQUIRIES IN PROGRESS INCREASED PRIZES NECESSARY LONDON, April 10. Pending a definite proposal from the South Australian Premier (Mr Butler), the aviation authorities are reluctant to discuss the prospects of a London-Ade-laide race for commercial machines in connection with the South Australian Centenary in 1930. He intends to see the Prime Minister of Australia (Mr Lyons) and seek Commonwealth support.
