DEMANDS WITH MENACES LETTERS TO -THE KING. LONDON, December 12. ' . Haddon pleaded not guilty and reserved bis defence. He said that he never had any criminal intention. He was committed for trial and allowed bail on undertaking not to send further communications. The actual charge' against Clarence Haddon was of “ uttering/ knowing the contents thereof, a letter demandih(r money from the King with menaces and without reasonable or probab.e ..cause.” -
