FUND FOR ASSISTANCE CHRISTMAS APPEAL ISSUED. •H. . , (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Decemberl2. (Received Dec. 13; at 5.5 p.m.) The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, the Prince of Wales, and the heads of the Free Churches of England and Wales have issued a Christinas appeal on behalf of 60.G00 political and religious refugees of all classes and creeds from Germany. The appeal is endorsed by Mr James Macdonald, who w aa appointed by the League of Nations Council as high commissioner for refugees from Germany.
