NEWPORT (Tennessee), October 31. (Received Nov. 1, at 8 p.m.) An argument over the N.R.A. to-day resulted in the death of Don Cahill and the imprisonment of Hugh M’Mahon, a blacksmith, who is charged with murder. Officers were told that the two engaged in a friendly argument in a blacksmith’s shop, M’Mahon defending the N.R.A. against the criticisms of his visitor. As the argument grew heated the men began hurling tools at each other, and finally M'Mahon drew a revolver and shot Cahill. CODE FOR AGRICULTURE. URGED BY GOVERNORS.
