TENSION CONTINUES BUT LULL IN DISTURBANCES. WASHINGTON, September 21. The Secretary of State (Mr Cordell Hull) eaid that consular advices indicated a lull in the disturbances in the interior of Cuba, but tension continued at high pitch. TROOPS AND REBELS. A CLASH REPORTED. HAVANA, September 21. (Received Sept. 22, at 10 p.m.) Reports that reached Havana on Thursday night said that Government troops clashed with rebel forces of Juan Bias Hernandex at Lascueva’s ranch, near Moron, and two rebels were killed. Word of the first actual armed clash between forces supporting the Ramon Grau San Martin Government with the rebels are supplemented by persistent rumours in Havana that the forces here were ready to strike at the new Government and a new revolution is brewing.
