WATERSIDE WORKER’S CLAIM (Pick United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, September 21. At the last Supremo Court sessions, Leslie Alexander Bailey, a waterside worker, claimed mandamus for admission as a member of the Blull Waterside Workers’ Union and £75 damages against the union for non-admission. Mr Justice Kennedy, in his reserved judgment, found that when no application came before the executive, it could not bo affirmed he was of good character and sober habits. Plaintiff was not accordingly entitled to membership, and judgment would be for the defendant, with costs. Mandamus was refused.
