BBOROUGH OF EASTBOURNE

COMMITTEE OF INVESTIGATION. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 21. After an extensive discussion, the Eastbourne Borough Council decided to-night to set up a committee to investigate the management of the borough. The question arose when a recommendation was received from the Eastbourne Ratepayers’ Association _ that—“ln view of the recent happenings .in connection with borough affairs a special committee be appointed, preferably of outsiders, to inquire into the whole system of borough management, and to prepare a complete report, with suggestions for any improvement.”
