FORTY HOUR WEEK
CONSIDERED BY LABOUR CONFERENCE GENEVA, June 13. The International Labour Conference, by 69 votes to 55, decided against proceeding this year with an international convention limiting industrial and commercial hours to 40 per week, but resolved by 95 votes to 26 that the question was a suitable subject for a future convention.
