, MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago FootbalUAssociation was held last evening, Mr J. Simpson being in the chair/ TROPHY GAME. The .'treasurer reported that the gate takings at the Wellington-Otago fixture on Saturday were £215 9s lOd, leaving a profit of £62 17a 5d after all expenses had been paid. The position disclosed was regarded as very satisfactory by the members of the committee. The chairman extended congratulations to. the members of the Otago team on drawing with the Wellington representatives and thus keeping the trophy in Otago. He said it was a magnificent game, and the manner in which the secretary and members of the committee, had carried through the arrangements reflected the greatest credit on them. SOUTHLAND* MATCH. '. v It was decided to inform the Southland Association that Otago would be willing to send a team to Invercargill to play on Saturday, August 13. The matter of arranging the Otago team was left to the selectors. GENERAL. The secretary of the Seacliff Club advised that his committee was desirous of having its league game with, Port Chalmers counted as a Chatham Cup fixture as well. It was decided to write to the Port Chalmers Club asking if it was agreeable to the'suggestion. The secretary of the New Zealand Football Association advised that the council had agreed to an extension of time until August 6, in which to complete the local elimination games for the Chatham Cup, the final for the South Island to be played by August 13.—Noted. A suggestion that a mid-week match be arranged between the Otago representatives and a team composed of first division unemployed players was agreed to, the probable date of the game being July 13. All available unemployed players are asked to' send in their names to the secretary by Monday, July 11. SATURDAY’S DRAW.
