At the Sydney Stadium to-night the contest for the Light-weight Championship of Australia and the Lord Beauchamp Belt between Bobby Delaney (9.9), the title-holder, and Bobby Blay (9.10), the challenger, ended in a draw after a splendid light. Blay was mostly the aggressor. Much blood was drawn. In the State Welter Championship Wally Hancock, the title-holder, obtained a decision against Roy Burns, who was outclassed. The fight was stopped in the fourth round.
