Reichers hopped off for Dublin at 8.30 a.m, bn Friday, after a two-hour delay in repairing the stabiliser, which was broken on landing here from' Newark in 6 hours 22 minutes. Roosevelt at sea states that Reichers was forced down 47 miles off the Fastnet Light to night. He was rescued suffering from' several injuries. A previous message stated: Lou Reichers, the young New Jersey speed pilot, departed from Newark (New Jersey) at 11.5 p.m. on Thursday night on a two-hop flight to Paris, where he hopes to land within 17 hours. He will refuel at Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, and Baldonnell Field, Dublin. He is flying a low-winged monoplane named Liberty, which has a cruising range of 200 miles an hour.
