OTAGO RUGBY LEAGUE
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE The weekly meeting of the executive of the Otago Rugby Football League was held last night, the president (Mr T, M. Gillies) in the chair. The secretary of the New Zealand Union wrote setting out the arrangements made for the South Island team to travel to Auckland, and advising that Mr C. Hall, of Greymouth, had been appointed manager of the team.—Received, An application for the use of the Caledonian Ground for the annual match between Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and Messrs Donald Reid and Co. was received. —lt was decided to grant the application, conditional on the caretaker considering the ground fit to play on. DRAW FOR SATURDAY. The followiig is the draw for Saturday's matches: — Pacific v. City, Caledonian Ground, 2.45 p.m. (Mr T. O’Connor); Christian Brothers v. Athletic, Oval, 2.45 p.m. (Mr F. Percy). Reserves —Christian Brothers v. Pacific, Caledonian Ground, 1.30 p.m. (Mr G. Blazey). INTERISLAND MATCH. SOUTH ISLAND TEAM. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 3.
