WRECK OF THE HYPATIA
THE COURT’S DECISION. OFFICERS FOUND GUILTY. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyrlcbt.) CAPETOWN, November 13. The court found the captain of the Hypatia, which was wrecked on October 29, guilty of a serious error of judgment, the chief officer guilty of culpable negligence, and the second officer guilty of contributory negligence. The Hypatia, which was in the direct cargo service with New York, grounded on Whale Rock, a mile off Rbbbcn Island, at the entrance to Table Bay, on October 2f>. at 3 o’clock in the morning, in the ihist.
