ANNUAL SALE OF WORK.

ALL SAINTS' GUILD,

The annual sale of work of the All Saints Ladies Guild was opened yesterday afternoon in the schoolroom. Cumberland street. The hall was tastefully decorated and the many stalls presented an attractive appearance. The sale proceeded briskly and a substantial sum has has already been raised; The following ladies were in charge of x the stalls:— Ladies Guild stall—Mesdames' Longford, Ritchie,Macassey. Russell, Lilly, Moore, Misses Howhson (2) and Pearce; variety stall—Mesdames . Stanley Smith Jones, Wilson,, and MClelland;- produce—Mesdames Russell, Ritchie, Johnson,, F. Fitchett, and Harman Reeves; refreshments—Mesdames Williams, Dickenson iarr, Whyte, and assistants; sweets. Mrs George Ritchie and members of the Junior Guild; flowers. Misses Fenwick (2) and Robertson. ‘ In the evening an entertainment was e‘ v ®u by Major Lampen and party, when the following programme was presented:— Monologue, Miss Anita Wiukel; songs. Miss i Molly Andrews and Mr Tuohy* humorous song, Mr C. Andrews; humorous items, Major Lampen. At the commencement of the programme a violin solo was rendered by Mr Watson, accompanie'd by Miss Wingfield. The accompanists were Messrs Kirk-Burnard and Towns; The sale of work will be continued today and will conclude this evening.
