GOOD TEMPLARY.
The meeting of the-Rescue Lodge, No. 105, International Order of Good Templars, was held in th e Oddfellows' Hall, King Edward street, on Tuesday when Bro. E. J: lies, P.C.T., presided. An apology was received from Bro, Sincock, C.T. There was a good attendance of members, and three.candidates were initiated. Correspondence was received from the grand secretary .and the Grand Lodge executive congratulating the lodge on it* continued success. Reports were received from juvenile temple visitors and from superintendents of juvenile temples in reference to the .juvenile temple picnic. After business.had been disposed of, Sisters L. Baird and K. Kii-.ch conducted competitions. • The Ever Hopeful Juvenile Temple met on Monday at Caversham, and the Star of the South'Temple'met on Tuesday. Both temples were well attended, and Rood programmes were rendered. Bro Hilton, S.J.W., was in charge, and: was assisted by Bros. E. lies. L; Hunt, aud W. Dickinson, Sisters L. Baird. D. Baird and V. Dray.. '•-..■' A large mimber'of members visited Port Chalmers .on Thursday last, when the Dunedin District Lodjro, No. 1, conducted a degree meeting, on the invitation'of the All Nations Lodge, No. 13. Fourteen members .presented themselves for the degree, the ceremony being ablv conducted by Bro. W. Dickinson, D.CT., and the District Lodge officers'.
