GRADING OF EGGS

A BRITISH SCHEME. MARKING ALSO SUGGESTED. (British Official Wireless.) (Press Association-By Telegraph—Copyright ) RUGBY, January 24 (Received Jan. 27, at 7 n.m.) At a meeting of the Council of Agriculture Mr Walter Guinness (Minister of Agriculture) stated that a scheme was being submitted to the poultry industry to provide for the grading of eggs, and probably also for marking them with a national mark. It was also proposed that preserved eggs should be marked so that they could he recognised. If the scheme were adopted he undertook to bring in the necessary legislation at a very early date.
