PRINCESS THEATRE.
The current programme at the Princess Theatre compares very favourably with the best of its predecessors. There is a plenitude of variety, nearly all of which lies in a mirthful direction. That direction, in itself, provides an abundance of variety. Excerpts from New York and London revues include “The Peacemaker,” “Three Doors and a Passage/’ “ The Coster’s Wooing,” “ Silence is Golden,” and “A Watery Wedding,” besides many other entertaining and attractive novelties. As all that is presented comes from the two great cities of the world, ancient and modern, it would seem to follow that patrons cannot fail to be satisfied with such a menu. Much necessarily depends upon the ability of those concerned in the production if what is given, and at the present time there are several clever comedians, singers, and dancers in the company. Of course, the whole performance is up to date, and dancing and frolic are the two mam foundations.
