THE CAmO ICAP.AOHI SERVICE.

DIFFICULTIES WITH PERSIA. (British Official News.) (Prcu Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, April 28. Mr G. Locker-Lampson (Under-Secre-tary for Foreign Affairs), referring in the House of Commons to the difficulties which have arisen with the Persian Government regarding the rights of British aircraft to fly over Persian territory on the Cairo to Karachi air route, said that a written agreement, which, if it had entered into force, would have secured the opening of this route to international traffic, had in fact been signed by the Persian Foreign Minister and the Britisfl Minister at Teheran on behalf of Imperial Airways, Ltd., in September, 1925. Further negotiations with the Persian Government on the subject were now in progress.
