NEW SUBMARINES. ORDER PLACED FOR SIX. (Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 5. The Star states that the Government has ordered six submarines. They will cost £3,000,000. Three are to be built by Messrs Vickers and Co. at Barrow, two by Messrs Beardmore and C at Glasgow, and one at the Government dockyard.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
