SON OF CHARLES DICKENS. THE REMEDY FOR OLD AGE. (Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, September 23. The newspapers are giving prominence to the golden wedding of Sir Henry Dickens, the son of the novelist, who is holding a big reception at Hyde Park Hotel, on Saturday, at which the child guests will be entertained by kinema, and the older ones by dancing, while Sir Henry Dickens and his wife propose to amuse themselves watching the youngsters enjoying themselves. “With the exception of the youngest son, who was killed at the war, all seven children will be present, bringing their 16 grandchildren. Lady Dickens said: “As the result of half a century, together we have come to the conclusion that the best for old age is plenty of children and' grandchildren.”—A. and N.Z. Cable.
