The newspapers are giving prominence to the golden wedding of Sir Henry Dickens, the son of the novelist, who is holding a big reception at Hyde Park Hotel, on Saturday, at which the child guests will be entertained by kinema, and the older ones by dancing, while Sir Henry Dickens and his wife propose to amuse themselves watching the youngsters enjoying themselves. “With the exception of the youngest son, who was killed at the war, all seven children will be present, bringing their 16 grandchildren.
