RETURNS FOR THE YEAR, A MARKED INCREASE. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) OTTAWA, April 5. The Canadian exports for tie fiscal yea* ended March 31 totalled 1,315,000,001 dollars—an increase of 246,000,000 dollars. The imports totalled 927,000,000 dollars—an increase of 130,000,000 dollars. The net improvement in the favourable balance is 115,000,000 dollars. The exports to Australia increased from 3,000,000 dollars to over 15,000,000 dollars, and the imports went np from 400,000 dollars to 3,000,000 dollars. lie exports to New Zealand increased from 500,000 dollars to a total of 10,500,uui) dollars.—A. and Cable,
