USE OF AIRSHIPS. DR NANSEN’S OPTIMISM. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, September 11. The Geneva correspondent of the Daily Express states that Dr Nansen, interviewed, said he was convinced that the next aerial expedition to the Pole would succeed. He had always believed that aeroplanes were unsuitable, because they could not carry wireless like an airship. He added; “I* shall probably accompany Captain Amundsen on bis next trip to see the regions that I visited on foot in former years.”—A. and N.Z. Cable.
