OCEAN YACHT RACE

SAN (FRANCISCO TO PAPEETE. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright SAN FRANCISCO, Juno 3. (Received Juno 4, at 8.30 p.m.) What is claimed to be the longest yacht race in the history of the game—from San Francisco to Papeete—is to start on Wednesday, Juno 10, when three schooners and a ketch are to spread sail at the Golden Cato. The distance is between 35C0 and 4000 miles. The yachts are Mr L. A. Norris's Mariner, Mr John Fiver’s Eloisc, Dr E. R. Parker’s Idalia, and Mr Mark Foxana’s Shawnci.
