EXCESS OF WITHDRAWALS. (Psa United Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON, October 23. The postal returns for the quarter endec! September 30 show an excess of withdrawals from the Savings Bank over deposits of £-140,047. In the same quarter last year the amount was 1297,290. The postal revenue was £334,755, against £322,989 last year, and the telegraph revenue was £340,256, against £334,720 last year, the two together showing an increase of £23,302.
