A NIGHT IN THE SNOW. LONDON, January 1. Four women who were climbing , Ren Lawers, the Scottish mountain, lost their way and were overtaken by darkness on the brink of a precipice. They spent the night in the snow, not daring to move, and at dawn climbed to the shelter of a rock, where they were rescued exhausted.
