From information which has reaped iu respecting the newly discovered lead at Hindon, we have reason to believe that, although the account of the yield and other particulars published in the “Times” of Saturday, was striotly correct, the lead is only very limited in width. A social meeting of the members and friends of the Baptist Church, recently formed in the town, will be held this evening at the Oddfellows’ Hall in recognition of the Rev. J. Loudon Parson’s acceptance of the call that was unanimously given him some short time since to become pastor of the Church in Dunedin. . .
