OBSERVANCE IN LONDON. PILGRIMAGE TO NELSON COLUMN. Pt«m A»»ooiation —By Telegraph—Cn'pyrlsht LONDON, October 21. (Received Oct. 22, at 8.30 mrn.) The traditional pilgrimage to Tralfargar square marked Trafalgar Day. Large numbers of people, including parties of Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, inspected the mamfloral tributes at the base of the Nelson Column. These included tributes from all over the world, including two large wreaths from the French and Spanish sailors, as well as prominent tributes from branches of the Navy League in Australia, Canada, and the other dominions. The wreaths from New Zealand and South Africa still bore some of the ice in which they were sent. The High .Commissioners of India and the dominions sent beautiful floral /tributes. —Reuter.
